Lideheng’s “High-Temperature, High-Sulfur-Capacity Desulfurization Process and Equipment for Blast Furnace Gas” has been certified by experts, including Academician Hao Jiming, and has reached an internationally advanced level.
On July 28, 2025, the China Environmental Protection Industry Association convened an appraisal meeting at the Lideheng Building for the “Wide-Temperature, High-Sulfur-Capacity Desulfurization Technology and Equipment for Blast Furnace Gas.” The meeting brought together seven experts: Professor Hao Jiming of Tsinghua University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Huang Dao, Deputy Chief Engineer of the China Iron and Steel Association; Lu Guangjie, Secretary-General of the Desulfurization, Denitrification, and Carbon Reduction Professional Committee of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association; Liu Tao, Director of the Environmental Protection Center at the Metallurgical Industry Planning & Research Institute; Xing Yi, Dean of the School of Energy and Environmental Engineering at Beijing University of Science and Technology; Zhou Jianhong, Deputy General Manager (Vice President) of the China Steel Group Engineering Design Research Institute Co., Ltd.; and Zhao Shiqing, Senior Vice President of Chongqing Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. They attended in person to evaluate the technology. Meanwhile, Lu Laiyin, Chairman of Lideheng Company, along with Vice Chairmen Lu Jianan, Executive Deputy General Manager Bao Yijian, Chief Engineer Yang Wenqi, Marketing Deputy General Manager Yan Peixin, and Deputy Director of Control Feng Liwen, presented a report on the project’s achievements. 
After more than four hours of review and evaluation, the appraisal committee unanimously concluded: “This achievement has provided a low‑cost, highly efficient, and practical process technology and equipment for desulfurization of blast furnace gas, reaching an internationally advanced level in the field of fine desulfurization of blast furnace gas.”
At the appraisal meeting, Yan Peixin, Deputy General Manager of Marketing at Lideheng, presented the process flow, technological innovations, and application status of the “High-Temperature, High-Sulfur-Handling Desulfurization Process and Equipment for Blast Furnace Gas.” He also screened a video showcasing the Guanggang gas fine-desulfurization project and addressed questions from the experts. Academician Hao and the other specialists not only evaluated and certified the technology but also offered constructive guidance on future improvements and market deployment.
Finally, Chairman Lu Laiyin of Lideheng delivered a thank-you address. Mr. Lu expressed his sincere gratitude to all the experts for their attendance and for the appraisal opinions they provided, and he outlined Lideheng’s nearly thirty-year journey in the environmental protection sector, highlighting the company’s strengths in talent development, technological innovation, and industry performance. He also stated that Lideheng will continue to innovate and make even greater contributions to the advancement of atmospheric environmental protection.
