This makes people realize that behind the good institutional environment and the rapid development of the industry, the complexity and arduousness of the development of the environmental protection industry.

More than a month ago, the newly revised "the People's Republic of China Environmental Protection Law" was announced, and the related supporting regulations will also be revised accordingly, so that the "institutional cage" for the protection of ecological civilization will become more and more dense. However, in some places, the pursuit of economic growth alone has led to the phenomenon of non-compliance with the law, lax enforcement of the law and impunity for violations of the law. At the same time, the national and local environmental protection standard system is not perfect, and the relationship between some standards needs to be further straightened out. As a typical policy-driven industry, preferential policies can help promote the development of the environmental protection industry, but some companies report that some preferential policies are like talking on paper and there are many difficulties in the implementation process. In addition, environmental protection enterprises are still dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises, the degree of industrial agglomeration is not high, and the problem of financing difficulties is prominent. Market order is not standardized also restricts the development of the entire industry.

Today, it has become a consensus to promote ecological civilization and build a beautiful China. As a "new engine" to promote sustained and healthy economic development, the environmental protection industry has ushered in an unprecedented golden opportunity period. Improve the national and local environmental protection standard system, increase the number of pollutant items in the standard in a timely manner, revise pollutant emission limits, improve environmental quality requirements and emission control requirements, and guide the development of the environmental protection industry.

Advocate green consumption pattern. On the one hand, the government takes the lead in promoting green procurement and promoting green consumption of the whole society through demonstration; on the other hand, it increases publicity efforts, takes environmental education as an important part of basic education and quality education, and uses preferential policies to guide and encourage public green consumption.

Increase the policy publicity, implementation and support for the environmental protection industry. Further sort out and publicize the current environmental protection industry policy, and make full use of the good policy. Accelerate the implementation of relevant preferential policies to promote enterprises to strengthen technology research and development. It is suggested that the finance should set up a special fund for the development of environmental protection industry and increase the support for the research and development of environmental protection technology.

Further cultivate and standardize the environmental protection industry market. Strict law enforcement, strengthen market supervision and product quality supervision, so that the cost of return to the real. Classified and graded subsidies for products to promote the consumption of advanced environmental protection products. Accelerate the establishment and improvement of pollutant emission trading markets. Give full play to the role of industry associations, enhance the cohesion and appeal of the industry, and assist the government to regulate and guide the healthy development of the environmental protection industry.

At the same time, we should establish and improve the policy support system to encourage environmental protection enterprises to "go out", enhance the ability of enterprises to "go out", and encourage enterprises to undertake overseas environmental protection projects and service projects.
